He also demanded proof of any public consultation before the restriction was imposed, including notices, objections received, and any final order explaining the decision.
The complaint raised serious concerns about incomplete SRA projects pending for over 3 years, rent unpaid to eligible citizens, and how victims are now being restricted instead of helping them.
It demands immediate cancellation of the restriction, public announcement restoring public access, and action against those responsible for denying citizens their right to approach public authorities.

1 अप्रैल 2025 को एक शिकायत दर्ज की गई कि स्लम रिहैबिलिटेशन अथॉरिटी (SRA) ने नागरिकों को दोपहर 2 बजे से 5 बजे तक सार्वजनिक समय के दौरान कार्यालय में प्रवेश से रोक दिया। यह नागरिकों के संवैधानिक और लोकतांत्रिक अधिकारों का उल्लंघन है।
शिकायतकर्ता ने कहा कि इससे पीड़ित लोग अपनी शिकायतों पर फॉलोअप नहीं कर पा रहे हैं और इससे अधिकारियों की जवाबदेही पर सवाल खड़े होते हैं।
उन्होंने SRA से उन सभी नियमों, सरकारी आदेशों या दस्तावेजों की प्रति मांगी जो इस प्रतिबंध को कानूनी ठहराते हैं। यदि ऐसा कोई दस्तावेज़ नहीं है, तो यह निर्णय अवैध और मनमाना है।
उन्होंने यह भी पूछा कि क्या यह निर्णय लेने से पहले कोई सार्वजनिक चर्चा हुई, कोई नोटिस निकाला गया या जनता से आपत्ति और सुझाव मांगे गए।
शिकायत में यह भी बताया गया कि 3 साल से अधूरे पड़े SRA प्रोजेक्ट्स, किराया न मिलने वाले पीड़ित नागरिकों और भ्रष्ट अधिकारियों के खिलाफ कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की जा रही है। इसके बजाय अब इन नागरिकों को कार्यालय में आने से ही रोका जा रहा है।
उन्होंने इस अवैध रोक को तुरंत हटाने, सार्वजनिक सूचना जारी कर कार्यालय में फिर से नागरिकों का प्रवेश सुनिश्चित करने और जिम्मेदार अधिकारियों पर कार्रवाई करने की मांग की।
