A circular from the Municipal Commissioner of the BMC orders all Deputy Commissioners, Department Heads, and Section Officers to allocate 3 PM to 5 PM every Monday and Friday for citizen meetings. During this time, officers should meet with citizens without requiring prior appointments. The Commissioner, Additional Commissioners, and Deputy Commissioners are also instructed to avoid scheduling meetings during these hours and to be available to meet with citizens. In unavoidable circumstances where a meeting is called, officers are directed to post a notice informing citizens of their unavailability.
