He demanded that the appointment be cancelled and full transparency be maintained, or he would take legal steps to challenge it.

उन्होंने कहा कि ये अधिकारी अपने कर्तव्य में असफल रहे और अब उनके खिलाफ आपराधिक मुकदमा चल रहा है। इनका बचाव करने के लिए सरकार द्वारा जनता के पैसों से वकील नियुक्त करना गलत और गैरकानूनी है, जो सुप्रीम कोर्ट और बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट के फैसलों के खिलाफ है।
उन्होंने पूछा कि यह निर्णय किस कानून के तहत लिया गया, किसने इसे मंजूरी दी, वकील को कितना भुगतान किया जा रहा है, और जनता क्यों ऐसे आरोपियों की रक्षा का खर्च उठाए।
शिकायत में यह भी पूछा गया कि क्या सरकार गलत करने वालों की रक्षा करेगी या उन्हें जवाबदेह बनाएगी। शेनॉय ने चेतावनी दी कि इससे बहुत गलत उदाहरण स्थापित होगा और जनता का भरोसा टूटेगा।
उन्होंने मांग की कि यह नियुक्ति तुरंत रद्द की जाए और पूरी प्रक्रिया पारदर्शी हो, अन्यथा वे कानूनी कार्रवाई करेंगे।
